Why the house series lead
Four of the top five cost 12 tokens an episode. That is partly the value voice in the score doing its job, but mostly it is that the house series are written to survive on story alone. They have no famous face to lean on, so the free half has to do real work: a silence, a glance, a prayer. The licensed titles, with one exception, are built the other way round. The name is the hook and the writing is the vehicle.
Where the licensed titles land
Bonnie Blue is My Stepsister is the exception and sits fifth. Under Her Watch and Private Lessons are good-looking, well-paced showcases that cost two and a half times the house rate. The three Riley Reid series cluster in the lower middle, with My Stepmom’s Weekend the pick and the dormitory series the one to skip unless you already know the supporting cast. Student Bodies is last, not because it is badly made but because its free half announces everything the paid half will do, which leaves nothing to unlock but the event itself.
